Milestones / History

Our efforts for our Russian customers is characterised by continuity. We were one of the partners involved in the founding of the German Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations back in the 1950s. Even in politically difficult times, we pursued our commitment with the same determination and continued to be involved in the foreign trade organisations. Immediately after the political changes of 1990, Ferrostaal set up offices in all the key regions. This allowed us to win the trust both of our long-established and also new customers in Russia.
